Shawn S. Lawrence, MDDr. Lawrence is
originally from Taylor, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. After high school She
joined the Army and spent 3 years as a Medical Corpsman. Dr. Lawrence completed her
Pre-Med in 1987 and Medical School in 1991, at Wayne State University in Detroit,
Michigan. She completed her residency in Family Practice at Oakwood Hospital in
Dearborn Michigan in June 1994 and became Board Certified with the American Academy of
Family Physicians in August 1994. The Oakwoood Family Practice provided training in
Surgery, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Medicine, Psychiatry, and all other aspects of
Family Medicine. Dr. Lawrence has strong interest in Obstetrics, Surgery, Pediatrics and
performs Cesarean Sections as well as many other surgical procedures. Other Professional
Affiliations include the American Medical Association and the Nebraska Affiliates to the
AAFP and AMA. Dr. Lawrence has been with the clinic since August 1, 1994.

Melinda S. Barratt, DO
Dr. Melinda S. Barratt is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska. After high school, Dr. Barratt attended Nebraska Weslyan University and graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then went on to Kirksville, Missouri and received her medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. Dr. Barratt completed her residency program in Johnson City New York in 2001 at the Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center, a dual track program in Family Practice and Osteopathy. Dr. Barratt is Board Certified in both Family Practice and Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Barratt's practice is located at the Sherman County Medical Clinic in Loup City, Nebraska, a satellite office of the Broken Bow Clinic, P.C. The days she is in the clinic are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. She has privileges at the Jennie M. Melham Memorial Hospital in Broken Bow. Dr. Barratt is trained in obstetrics, including cesarean, pediatrics, medicine, sports medicine, Osteopathic Manipulation, geriatrics, and all other aspects of family practice and osteopathic medicine. Dr. Barratt's interests include; scuba diving, USVBA volleyball and traveling. Dr. Barratt has been with the clinics since August 01, 2001.

Angela M. Pruden, M.D.
Dr. Pruden is a native of Norfolk, Nebraska. After high school she attended Wayne State College and received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She completed her Family Medicine Residency in North Platte, Nebraska in 2005. Dr. Pruden became Board Certified in July 2005. She is a Professional Affiliate of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Pruden loves all aspects of family practice including Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Sports Medicine, and Surgery. She practices at the Broken Bow location and at the satellite clinic in Thedford, Nebraska. Dr. Pruden enjoys spending time with her family and friends, horses, crafts and watching local sporting events.

Katrina A. Trimble, PA-C
Katrina was born in this area of Nebraska and continues to have family and friends living here. Following graduation from Bayard High School, Katrina attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2002, and Master's Degree in PA studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2004, and is Board Certified. Katrina has a strong interest in Surgery, Dermatology and Women's Health, but is trained in all aspects of family practice including Pediatrics, Sports Medicine, and Geriatrics. Katrina practices in the Broken Bow location and also in the satellite clinics in Arcadia, Thedford, and The Sherman County Medical Clinic in Loup City, Nebraska. Professional Affiliations include the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants. Katrina enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, camping, reading, and traveling. Katrina has been with the clinic since February, 2005.
